Since 2018 Amsterdam Alternative organises AADE (Amsterdam Alternative Dance Event) in the same week the big ADE festival takes place in Amsterdam. This years AADE events take place from Tuesday 20 October till Sunday 25th of October in the OT301, Cinetol, OCCII, Ventilator cinema and De Nieuwe Antita.

Amsterdam-based artist Subject Sue celebrates the release of her debut EP Details In The Dark. Subject Sue creates dystopian nightclub music at the intersection of darkwave and ethereal techno. Through pulsating synthesizers, textured soundscapes and haunting vocal harmonies, she explores the blurred boundaries between lust and romance, intimacy and alienation. Inspired by queer club culture and the fragile edge between euphoria and estrangement, her music unfolds into a sweaty nocturnal haze.

Belgium’s alternative scene hits OT301 to launch the intense AADE weekend. On Thursday, October 22nd, TUKAN and Aili & Orson join forces for a high-energy live act showcase. Having built an impressive track record across Europe’s top stages and festivals, both acts are set to deliver. Charlie Avalon (Amsterdam) and Umbra (Brussels) set the tone on opening and closing duties with fine selector dj sets.

The Noodle Show creates safe environments where experimentation and improvisation intersect. We collaborate with visual and electronic music creators for artist talks and an open collaborative live jam.
For this special AADE edition, Nadia Struiwigh and Kessler each open up their live setup and talk about their creative process, hardware and approach to electronic music.
After the talks, we open the floor. Bring a machine, plug in and join the jam. We provide the master clock and mixer to keep everyone in sync.

During Amsterdam Dance Event, while the city fills up with increasingly commercial parties and events, over here at PRSPCT & OT301, we wanted to put our energy into something we feel is important.
Sunday 25th, we’re hosting a fundraiser in support of the Gaza Skate Team. A group of skaters dedicated to teaching children in Gaza how to skate, creating community and giving kids a chance to experience some joy and freedom in an unimaginably difficult situation.
100% of the profits from the event will go directly towards supporting there work.
